Drug Detox Treatment Program
Understanding our admissions process will help you ease into everything that’s happening at New Creation Treatment. We don’t want you to feel overwhelmed or inundated, so we try to make the entire process transparent from beginning to end. Here are some of the things that you can expect when it comes to the admissions process in our facility.
The process begins when you reach out to us. As soon as you decide that the time is right, you can get in touch with us and we’ll get the ball rolling on your recovery. We will connect you with highly experienced, trained and credentialed individuals who can help you find the solutions that you seek for your drug detox needs.
Next, we will walk you through a comprehensive evaluation process to help match you with a program that is going to match your specific set of circumstances so that you will be able to get the help you need. We want to provide you with the evaluation and guidance that you’re looking for so that you can finally get support and assistance for your specific needs. We will take all of your details and information and match you with the specific programs that will deliver recovery results, providing you with more information about our programs and services at this time. Our women’s rehab treatment specialists will work closely with you and your family members or other loved ones during this time to make sure that everyone is on the same page about your recovery.
Booking your admission day is what comes next. You are going to want to make sure that you don’t book it too far in advance that you think you’ll change your mind. It can become easy to grow resistant over time, and you won’t want to give yourself enough time to back out of the promises that you’ve made to yourself. You should only be giving yourself enough time to get your affairs in order, to pack and to prepare for your admission. Don’t give yourself so much extra time that you can put enough thought into changing your mind.
While you’re waiting for your admission day to come, we’ll help you arrange your travel or transportation. Make sure that you know what items you are allowed to bring and what you are not allowed to bring by consulting your intake specialist.
Once you come to New Creation Treatment, you will be in a safe and welcoming environment and the rest will be up to us. You will be able to focus completely on healing and recovering from what ails you while we focus on guiding you through to your recovery. Help is just around the corner, but you have to take the first steps by reaching out and contacting us.
When you’re suffering from a drug addiction, there is a physical hold that the drug creates on your body that you will have difficulty eliminating on your own. The drug creates a physical tolerance, and so you require more and more of the drug in order to get the same response, and when you stop taking the drug, your body has a negative reaction based on a dependency, that leads you to need to take the drug again in order to alleviate the negative symptoms. This vicious cycle will repeat itself until you are able to get help from a drug detox program like ours at New Creation Treatment, at which point the first step is the actual detoxification process, or removing the substance from your system once and for all.
Drug Detox Process
There is no single one-size-fits-all solution to removing the drug from your system, though there are a lot of different avenues that you can pursue. At New Creation Treatment, our goal is to employ a variety of different methods in conjunction with one another to provide you with the best possible experience while overcoming your substance abuse problem.
Sub-Acute Detox: For Patients with less severe or shorter-term addictions, sub-acute detox is a great option. Sub-acute detox is a less-intensive version of our full program, which does not require 24-hour hospitalization. Patients choose their detox timing and are able to come and go at will. This is also a more affordable option.
There isn’t a single answer when it comes to detox and rehabilitation treatment options. You need to decide which type of treatment is going to meet your needs based on your own lifestyle and the type of substance abuse issue you’re facing. Once you have figured out what your own personal needs are, we can help you match a treatment solution to those needs for the best possible results.
